RETURNS POLICY

Online Purchases

What is your returns policy for items purchased online?
We accept returns on full price items purchased online if items are in new, unworn condition, with original tags attached. If these conditions are met we will provide a refund, exchange or credit.

There is a 14 day returns policy in place from the date of delivery to your door. If you are away or unable to return item within 14 days please email retail@stapleandcloth.co.nz to come to an arrangement.

When will I receive the refund from my online purchase?
Please allow 2-3 working days for your refund to appear in your account. Your refund will be credited to the same card used to make the purchase. Staple and Cloth does not refund freight charged.

What if I want to exchange my online purchase?
You can exchange full price and sale items but not *final sale items.

For online orders, return garment with web return form letting us know which item you are after. If a sale item is returned, an online credit code will be emailed to you to use at the checkout for future purchases with Staple and Cloth.

*Final sale items are items that are not eligible for return, refund, exchange or credit. These items are described as “final sale” in online description.

Can I return sales items purchased online?
You can return sale items excluding final sale for exchange or store credit only. We only accept items in new, unworn condition with original tags attached. All jewelry and homeware products are final sale.

Can I return items I bought online at a store or vice versa?
Sorry, not right now! Please return items you buy online through our easy returns process, and items you buy in­ store back to the store.

What happens if my item is faulty? 
If your item is faulty, we will happily repair / replace / refund the item depending on fault. Please contact us at retail@stapleandcloth.co.nz as soon as you notice the fault.

Laybuy Purchases

We do not offer returns on items brought through Laybuy - instore or online. We will offer an exchange if brought online. 

RETURN PROCESS
For online purchases, you’ll receive a return form with your order. We’ve made returns super easy for you:

  1. Put the items you want to return into a post bag.
  2. Fill out our returns form – tick whether you are after a refund | exchange | credit. Note that separate forms are sent depending on whether your item is full price or sale.
  3. Write our address : Returns | Staple + Cloth | 124 Ponsonby Road | Ponsonby | Auckland 1011 | New Zealand
  4. Sign, seal and send the parcel back to us. Return shipping costs are to be covered by the customer.
  5. We’ll take it from there and get your return processed ASAP.

In Store Purchases 

Full price items purchased in store can be returned for exchange or credit within 14 days of purchase. We accept items in new condition with original tags attached along with proof of purchase. There is a 14 day returns policy in place from date of purchase. We do not refund items purchased in store.

Sale items purchased in store cannot be returned. ALL jewellery and homeware are final sale.
